2 ‘kidnapped’ girls has been found by the Police in Tarkwa


The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service has affirmed to MyNewsGh.com that each of the two young ladies who were probably captured in Tarkwa has been found.

One of the young ladies who is Augustina Ndaago, a first-year Home Economics understudy of the Tarkwa Senior High School (SHS) was found on Monday morning at Kasoa and on her way to the CID central station for further cross-examination.

Augustina Ndaago took an exeat from specialists of the school under the pretense of going to visit her folks yet nothing was gotten notification from her from that point as per her folks and school experts.

Specialists of the school asserted Augustina’s sibling called the housemistress to advise her that an “assumed” hijacker had sent him an instant message that Augustina together with two others had been captured and was in their guardianship and in this manner requested payment for their discharge.

This comes days after Maame Darkoa Anomah, 25 who was accounted for missing at West Tanokrom was later found to have been stayed outdoors in her sweetheart’s room at Prestea for over seven days having fun.

On account of Maame Darkoa Anomah, Director General of Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID) DCOP Maame Tiwaah Addo-Danquah said “It is something that we have captured the suspect. Evidently, the woman met the person, the person proposed to the woman and she tailed him to his home and they rested.

The man is in police care and we have started the examination. That woman is near, we are conversing with him and we are cross-examining the suspect to comprehend the conditions under which the entire issue occurred”
